WorshipOur regular weekly worship service is at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening in the Sanctuary.
DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY HOLDING SERVICES. WE WILL UPDATE ANY NEW INFORMATION AS SOON AS IT IS AVAILABLE. PLEASE LOOK FOR UPDATES HERE OR ON OUR FACEBOOK SITE. Our worship reflects our community and our spirituality. When you join us, you are likewise invited to bring the "good stuff" from your own tradition and to share in those acts of worship that we ourselves find meaningful. Our music ranges from ancient to traditional to contemporary to songs written by our own members! Our preaching is biblically based and speaks to life today! Our observances follow the liturgical calendar for the church year, with Bible lessons generally from the Revised Common Lectionary. And at each service of public worship, we celebrate a common meal together in the living presence of our God, a truly holy Communion. Rev. Dawn Flynn has been our pastor since February 2014. Her broad range of life experiences continues to bring strength and leadership to the church's worship, as well as to all the other facets of church life. And on those Sundays when Pastor Dawn is not in the pulpit, we will continue to take advantage of a range of viewpoints by bringing in preachers from a number of different traditions. We value diversity here, as well as the continuity that comes from our connection to those in all times and places who have sought to live out a loving faith, guided by the Spirit of God. Come as you are, believing as you do. That is the way God loves you - just as you are! Our worship is a place for reflection, for support, for growth, and, we pray, for You. in months with five sundays, we have a guest preacher on one sunday. This allows us to hear a different voice and a different viewpoint. |
